Kinesiology

Systematic Kinesiology uses painless muscle testing to identify, understand and rectify any imbalances within the body. A treatment always looks at all elements that may be affecting your health – emotions, chemical challenges (including food sensitivities), structural or energetic stresses. Once any imbalances are identified, a treatment plan is implemented specific to your requirements. This may include acupressure, firm reflex massage, flower remedies, nutritional support, emotional stress release techniques, suggested lifestyle changes and more. The exact treatment you receive depends entirely on the requirements of your body, determined by your body’s response to the muscle tests.

Susan Clark, Health columnist for the Times and writer of the best seller ‘What Really Works’ stated that “Kinesiology should be standard medical training for all general medical practitioners”.

What is Kinesiology?

Discovered by Chiropractors in America in the 1960s, Kinesiology (kin-easy-ology) is a way of using muscle testing to discover imbalances in the body and mind. It works by monitoring a person’s ability to hold a muscle agains a light pressure. Each muscle is related to an organ and also its relative acupuncture meridian.ASKLogo

Kinesiology is a simple and safe method of analysis, which allows the client’s body to reveal to the practitioner what is needed to rectify the body’s problems.

You can read all you like about Kinesiology, but there is no substitute for trying it for yourself. It is a fascinating experience.

Kinesiology can help support any health and emotional issues large or small!

About me: I discovered the amazing power of Systematic Kinesiology when I was a Publisher of Health and Fitness Magazine in the 90’s. I was hooked after my first treatment and overwhelmed with what Kinesiology can discover and identify in the body and more importantly correct.

I am deeply passionate about Kinesiology which is reflected in the treatments that I give and the courses that I teach both in my Foundation courses and with TASK where I am privileged to be a Tutor teaching Practitioner level and  Diploma level.

I run regular Kinesiology Taster talks for people wanting to learn more about this rapidly growing complementary therapy with even a view to be one themselves! I absolutely love teaching our Kent Kinesioloy courses and many of my students have started out being Kinesiology clients themselves.

” Vanessa was recommended to me by a  friend who got alarming relief from years of colitis after one session. I popped along for a treatment for acid reflux and abdominal pain and after 2 sessions I feel so different and have no bloating or pains anymore “- Janice  New Eltham
